Provider Biography
Nadege Pone, PMHNP - BC, FNP
I entered the field of psychiatric care out of a deep commitment to support individuals living with mental illness, who often face significant barriers to understanding, treatment, and compassion. Throughout my clinical training and practice, I have witnessed how untreated or misunderstood mental health conditions can affect every aspect of a person’s life—relationships, physical health, stability, and sense of self.
As a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with focused experience, my clinical practice centers on serving individuals affected by complex and high-risk mental health needs. I am particularly drawn to working with individuals coping with co-occurring conditions and navigating complex life stressors. Psychiatric care allows me to address not only symptoms but also the underlying experiences of trauma, loss, and adversity that shape mental health.
In my approach, I provide comprehensive, evidence-based care that emphasizes harm reduction, recovery-oriented treatment, and long-term stability. By integrating medical and psychiatric considerations into treatment planning, I promote safe medication management and coordinated care across disciplines. My focus includes the assessment and treatment of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, psychotic disorders, personality disorders, and substance use disorders. I am known for creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.
